Behind each of our villages invariably lies a wall of conifers reaching towards the sky. This marks the border to another world. A few steps beneath the trees can be enough to leave the openness of the village behind. Light dims, sounds change and the landscape seems to close around you. The farther you travel, the thinner the boundary between the familiar and the mysterious becomes.

On damp coastal mornings, the forest transforms into a misty vale of shadow, cedar and fog. Through it, forms become uncertain and the forest seems to hold another world just beyond our sight. Mystic Veil speaks to that moment when the landscape reveals just enough to remind us of everything it keeps hidden.

Erin and Andy co-created this piece to celebrate the hues, the feelings, the scent and mystery of the magical Pacific Northwest forests. From Haida Gwaii to Vancouver Island, these mystic lands are revered by our people as places of sustenance, teaching and transformation. We designed this blanket to pay homage to the forests that surround us. May you enjoy it for years to come!

The design is woven, not printed, and it is fully reversible. The front reads like a misty coastal day, with the Eagle emerging through the sky above the forest. Flip it over and the colours reverse into the same scene at night.

Each blanket arrives in its own Mystic Veil presentation box, deep green with the design wrapped around it and this story printed on the outside. It looks like a gift before you have done anything to it.

Shipping — please read

1. This is a pre-order. Mystic Veil has not landed in our studio yet. Orders placed now will ship October 20–23, and you will receive tracking as soon as yours is on its way. If anything changes we will email you directly rather than leaving you wondering.

2. Free shipping does not apply to this blanket. It is heavy, and it travels in a large presentation box. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address, and our free-shipping offer and any free-shipping promotions do not cover this item.

3. Ordering more than one? If you would like each blanket packaged in its own gift box, additional shipping charges may apply. Multiple blankets can be packed together at no additional cost.
