New Dogfish Crest Unisex Tshirt

$36.00

Description:

This Dogfish design by Jesse Brillon is the Clan crest of the Laana Tsaadas, Skidegate (Eagle Moiety). Jesse made this design for our Clan dance screen which was erected at our Clan’s first feast in over 150 years, in June of 2022. The dance screen has been on exhibit at the Haida Gwaii Museum and most recently hanging at Jesse’s Exhibit at the Bill Reid Gallery in Vancouver.

Since the Dogfish crest is both highly revered and shared amongst many Haida clans, we are happy to share this design for public use.

This shirt has been hand-printed in our Studio using water-based discharge inks. The extraordinary feature of this type of ink is that after the first wash, the ink leaves no residue, and is integrated into the fabric so the only feel is of the shirt fabric.

This New Dogfish Design is the same one printed previously just a bit larger on chest the shirt.
