Within 14 days of the shipping date: you can exchange your item or receive a refund to the original method of payment. After 14 days: you can exchange your item. After 20 days: we will no longer accept returns or exchanges.

Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location, and customer selected shipping option. 

U.S. Duties & Tariffs

We ship DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) to the U.S., so your order arrives without customs delays or additional charges.

Products that are 100% designed and made in-house by Totem Design House — including all jewelry, wellness products, and our eco-friendly women’s wear collection — are exempt from U.S. tariffs.

If duties are applied at checkout to one of these items, we will automatically refund those charges.

As a 100% Indigenous-owned and operated business, Totem Design House places cultural integrity at the heart of everything we do. All artwork featured on their products is created by Indigenous artists and rooted in the rich traditions of Northwest Coast formline design. The company is intentional about avoiding cultural appropriation or commercialization, instead honoring the depth and meaning behind every piece.

Totem Design House also operates as a certified social enterprise. Ten percent of our annual profits are donated to Copper Legacy Indigenous Empowerment Society, a non-profit organization that supports wellness and empowerment programs for Indigenous people. In addition, the business actively mentors and employs Indigenous youth and community members, helping to create long-term opportunities rooted in culture and creativity.

Andy Everson is a contemporary Indigenous artist from the K’ómoks First Nation on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Born in 1972, he carries the names Na̱gedzi, after his grandfather Chief Andy Frank, and Ḵ̓wa̱mxa̱laga̱lis I’nis, a hereditary name that speaks to his deep roots in both the K’ómoks and Kwakwa̱ka̱’wakw peoples. Raised in a culturally rich household, Andy was surrounded by traditional practices and storytelling, which continue to influence his work today. Alongside his art, he is also a cultural dancer and singer, actively participating in ceremonial groups such as the Le-La-La, Gwa’wina, and Kumugwe Dancers.

Andy holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia, where his academic focus on linguistics and cultural identity helped shape his broader work in community advocacy and language preservation. He is the founder of Copper Canoe Inc., a media company dedicated to producing Indigenous language content.

Everson’s art bridges the worlds of traditional Northwest Coast formline and modern digital expression. He is best known for bold, graphic pieces that often incorporate contemporary imagery—from pop culture references like Star Wars to political themes around Indigenous resistance and resilience. His artwork has appeared in exhibitions across Canada and has been commissioned by organizations including the Royal Canadian Mint. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Polygon Award in First Nations Art by the BC Achievement Foundation, recognizing his role in both preserving and evolving Indigenous art forms.

Through every facet of his work—visual art, performance, language media, and community leadership—Andy Everson embodies a living connection to culture. He continues to use his creative practice to challenge, educate, and inspire, ensuring Indigenous stories are not only remembered but reimagined for future generations.

Jesse Brillon is a Haida-Cree artist and master jeweler from the Laana Tsaadas Eagle Clan of Skidegate, Haida Gwaii. Born in 1972 in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Jesse was raised in close connection to the land and sea, spending much of his early life commercial fishing alongside his grandfather. These formative experiences continue to influence the strong sense of place and cultural continuity that define his artistic practice.

Jesse began his journey as a jeweler after being gifted a silver repoussé bracelet by renowned Haida artist Don Yeomans. Inspired by the power and beauty of that piece, he apprenticed with Yeomans in Vancouver before further refining his metalworking techniques under Gitxsan jeweler Phil Janze. Jesse specializes in traditional chasing and repoussé methods, creating deeply sculptural pieces in gold, silver, and copper. His work often features complex formline designs and a strong reverence for ancestral knowledge, expressed through bracelets, pendants, and ceremonial coppers.

A respected artist in both gallery and ceremonial contexts, Jesse’s work has been featured in major exhibitions across North America. He has also contributed significant ceremonial objects to community events, including a gold crest bracelet and repoussé copper headdress made for his sister’s clan feast—the first of its kind in over 150 years in their community.

Now living and working between Vancouver Island and Haida Gwaii, Jesse continues to balance commercial fishing with his art practice. His jewelry serves as both adornment and cultural transmission—each piece carrying forward Haida values, histories, and aesthetic traditions with strength, intention, and enduring beauty.
