Northwest Coast Art Puzzle - Connection by Andy Everson

$38.00

Indigenous-owned. Artist-designed.

Description:

Take a deep breath. Feel the air move through your lungs — nourishing your body before returning to the world. Now consider where that air has been. Those same molecules have filled the lungs of your family, your neighbours, your ancestors. They've sustained creatures of the land, sea, and sky, from the tiniest insects to the greatest of whales, before being absorbed by plants, cleansed, transformed, and carried on the wind again. On this small blue planet, we share so much. This is connection.

Connection is a celebrated limited edition giclée print by K'ómoks artist Andy Everson, inspired by the profound bond between his ancestors and the territory that has sustained them since time immemorial — and by a lone transient orca that entered the Comox Harbour one summer and lingered for nearly two weeks, prompting the community to reflect on our place in the larger world.

Now, piece it all together — literally. This puzzle brings Everson's iconic Northwest Coast art into your home in a meditative, hands-on way. Each piece you connect is a quiet reminder of the connections that surround us every day.

Andy Everson is a Northwest Coast Indigenous artist of the K'ómoks First Nation, based in Comox, BC. His work weaves traditional formline design with contemporary themes, exploring identity, ecology, and belonging.
