Wicked Candle Making - Lets Get It! 🔥

Create. Relax. Take Home Something You’ll Actually Use.

Ready for a creative outing that feels good, smells amazing, and leaves you with two signature candles you’ll be proud of?

That’s the heart of Wicked Candle Making — a fun, cozy workshop where you get hands-on, unwind, and make something beautiful.

And yes… the name Wicked is a little play on words: “Wicked” as in excellent and fun. And “wick-ed” as in… well… wicking your candle.

It fits the vibe perfectly: creative, warm, a little cheeky, and totally relaxing.

Every class includes:

  • TWO 7oz clean-burning soy candles in glass jars with lids
  • Candle Making 101 mini lesson (short, clear + consistent)
  • All tools + supplies
  • Gift bag + surprise gift (valued at $12)
  • Beverages included

Afternoon Sessions — $95
Relaxed daytime vibe, tea + non-alcoholic beverages, perfect for solo creativity or a daytime outing.

Length: ~2.5 hours
Class Size: 8–12 people

Minimum Enrollment: Classes require at least 8 participants to run. If a session has fewer than 8 registered by 2 days prior, we’ll reschedule and you’ll receive first priority to choose a new date.

Private Bookings + Special Events:
Yes, we host birthdays, staff parties, friend nights, and group gatherings.
If you want a private class, or if sessions are full, we’re happy to add additional dates based on demand.

Booking:

Community Access Seats (Pay What You Can)

We offer two Pay What You Can seats in every class because creativity should be accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to request one of these spots. Pay What You Can is offered anywhere between $25 and $75, which helps cover materials while keeping the experience accessible.

To apply, just email info@totemdesignhouse.com with the subject line “Community Access Seat” and let us know which date you’d like to attend.
Once confirmed, we’ll email you a
PWYC invoice, where you can choose an amount within that range — whatever works for your budget. No explanation needed.

If the seats for that class are already filled, we’ll offer the next available spot.

Introducing

new favourite creative escape right here in Comox

In each class, you’ll learn how to make candles from start to finish and pour two premium soy candles of your own. You’ll get to choose from a gorgeous selection of glass vessels and more than 50 luxury fragrance oils.

We set you up with a full table of embellishments — botanicals, crystals, glitter — and you’ll even design your own custom labels, so everything feels personal and polished.
